Howco Inc. was founded in
1969 by the late Charles Howard Sr. Since that time, Howco has grown
from one employee and a service truck, to 30 employees, 12 service
trucks and a fully stocked warehouse for parts and supplies. Howco
services the car wash industry in North Carolina, South Carolina,
Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Washington D.C., contiguous parts of
Georgia, Tennessee and West Virginia and Eastern Pennsylvania.
Over the years, Howco has been involved in the installation of hundreds
of successful new car washes and remodels or upgrades of existing car
washes. Mr. Howard also founded
Autobell Car Wash Inc. about the same
time as Howco Inc. Today,
Autobell Car Wash
consists of 49 full service car washes operating in North
Carolina and Virginia. This ownership of retail car wash facilities gives Howco Inc. valuable experience which they are able to share with
prospective customers. From site selection and financial engineering to
planning, training, installation and start up, Howco employees have the
experience needed to make any car wash project a success.

Howco Inc. is
located in Charlotte, NC which is the geographic center of the
territory it serves. Good transportation systems and sources of supply
make Charlotte an ideal location to work from. Howco handles sales and
service using a fleet of land vehicles and two company owned aircraft.
Shipments of parts and
supplies are dispatched daily from the Howco warehouse, also located
in Charlotte.
Howco Inc. is capable
and experienced in all phases of the vehicle washing industry
including; conveyor automatic, in bay automatic, self serve equipment,
truck and large vehicle washes, fleet washes, oil company washes, auto
dealer washes, rental car washes and national account facilities.
